Labadi Beach, Ghana

Born and raised in Waterloo, Ont. I stayed for university, majoring in Global Studies at WLU. I held a variety of positions at the campus paper, The Cord, from volunteer writer to Senior News Editor. I spent two of my summers in West Africa – first in Togo, then in Ghana – and decided development work wasn’t for me, though travel certainly is.

I’ve been working in Toronto at Pagemasters since graduation, doing editing, web work and pagination for the Toronto Star and Globe and Mail. I also write news articles, business profiles and non-profit communications on a freelance basis.

I’m passionate about making our communities better places for everyone, from helping newcomer Canadians feel welcome to working toward housing and food security for all.
